Do I smell cookies..?
It all begins with an idea. My idea came to me after years of juggling criminal legal defense work, when I least expected it. After a long day at the office, it made sense to me to come home and start baking. It was therapeutic, to knead the stress of the day away into some delicious sugar cookie dough. Pretty soon the occasional batch of cookies became a staple in my house. Then I started to experiment with themed designs for friends’ birthdays and luncheons.
Somewhere along the line I began accepting orders for cookies, all different shapes and sizes, custom made to match any and every event! I realized that baking is what my next chapter entailed; I kissed my old gig goodbye and said hello to a much sweeter future.
Why “triple treats”…
“My children are my biggest fans.”
As you may have guessed, I am the mother of triplets who are all grown up now, but still find their way home from time to time, ready to lick the icing off the whisk. Naming my new venture “triple treats” was a way to include her first and forever #1 cookie fans.
